Remembrance Day

The children spent the morning learning about Remembrance Day. It is an especially important day to some of the team at the nursery as they have had family links to the war themselves.

The children listened to stories and talked about where they have seen poppies at home or outside and had a go at painting their own. The children were even able to recall the story they had heard earlier in the day by drawing them.

The Swan Class took part in a two minute silence to think about the soldiers that got hurt a long time ago and that poppies show that we are thinking about them too.
