Our Team

Our wonderful team of nursery educators are all well-qualified and have many years of experience in nurturing young minds and delivering creative and stimulating learning experiences. 

The team is led by Laura De Oliveira who has 14 years’ experience in early years and has been the Nursery Head since September 2018. She has a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education and a Level 4 in Leadership and Management. Laura has personal experience of parenting through her own family. Laura is currently on Maternity Leave. 

Laura says:

“My aim is to provide the best possible care and education at all times for our young children. I want it to be fun and to allow our children to grow and learn in a safe and exciting environment with each child reaching their full potential and gaining the skills they need to take them on their journey through nursery and into big school."


Miss Anabela


Miss Anabela is the Nursery Head and Curriculum Leader. She joined Swinbrook House Nursery School in July 2023 and has a level 3 qualification in early years teacher with over 10 years of experience.
With over 12 years in childcare, I feel that I have gained excellent experience with children of all ages. Seeing them learn and grow happily at every stage of their lives and knowing hat I contributed for that, makes me feel proud and happy. This also helped me to gain knowledge and progressed on my career.

Miss Pranvera


Miss Pranvera is the SENDCO (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator) and works with the Cygnet Class (toddlers). She joined Swinbrook House Nursery School in May 2023. Miss Pranvera has a Level 3 in Early Years and a Diploma in SEND. She has over 8 years experience in childcare.
I have a passion for early years and I look forward to supporting the Cygnet Class environment to make it a fun, exciting and stimulating space for the children to learn and explore.

Miss Minnie


Miss Minnie is an Early Years Practitioner with 14 years experience working with children. She joined the Nursery School in January 2021 and works in the Swan Class. Miss Minnie has a Level 3 in Childcare.
I am passionate about early years and giving children the best start as they begin their learning journey. I believe children learn best when highly motivated through fun play experiences.

Miss Alison


Miss Alison is an Early Years Practitioner - With a Level 2 in Health and Social Care and 9 years experience in early years, Alison is based in Cygnet Class. She has been at the nursery since June 2015.
I enjoy seeing the children grow in confidence. I also enjoy spending time with my daughter and socialising with friends and family.

Miss Veronica


Miss Veronica is an Early Years Practitioner - With a Level 3 in Early Years. Miss Veronica works in the Swan Class and has been at the nursery since October 2021.
Now a qualified level 3 practitioner, I am looking forward to implementing what I have learnt with in the nursery. I also enjoy socialising and spending quality time with my children.
